The Lada-Kalina car is a budget model of the Russian AvtoVAZ plant. Under the main brand name, it is not widespread in the CIS countries, where the car is known as Lada 1117, 1118, 1119. The models entered wide production in 2004, but in some countries the implementation did not begin immediately, but several years later. The sale of VAZ-1117 (1119 is the “parent” of this model) began in 2008, in Ukraine alone, over 2 thousand models were sold in two years. The car is equipped with two types of gasoline engines.
