Description
The UCP 207 bearing unit is a closed ball bearing unit with a body on the legs. The UCP207 bearing unit is suitable for high radial loads and is used in a variety of industries due to its versatility – on the feet is the most popular type. It is particularly robust thanks to its P207 grey cast iron body. Inside it there is a self-aligning UC207 bearing.
Design features
* The round-shaped body with two ears is securely attached vertically to the base with two bolts, the shaft is raised above the base. * The P207 flange support is made of cast iron, which is an inexpensive but durable material. * The UC207 housing bearing has an elongated inner ring with set screws that attach it to the shaft. * Smooth ride and skewable operation thanks to the elongated inner ring – static displacements can be compensated for up to a 2° angle. * Two-piece sealing system: with a sheet steel washer reinforced with a rubber seal inside for high mechanical protection against foreign objects. * Lubricant is applied to the bearing in production; Under normal operating conditions, relubrication is not required. * Housing with built-in relubrication hole (grease can) as it wears out. * To protect against corrosion, the support is painted; The bearing and mounting surface are treated with anti-corrosion oil.
