Wheel hub assembly is an integrated component combining bearings, hub, flange, seals, and sensors (in modern vehicles), serving as the critical connection between the wheel and vehicle body.
Core Components:
Bearing System: Double-row angular contact ball bearings or double-row tapered roller bearings, forming the load-bearing and rotational core
Hub Flange: Connects the wheel and brake disc, typically integrated with the bearing inner ring
Sealing System: Multi-lip seal structure prevents dust and moisture ingress while retaining lubricant
Sensor Assembly (3rd Generation): Integrates ABS wheel speed sensors to provide vehicle speed signals to the control system
