The French automobile industry is most popular in the European market. According to a survey, 23% of all cars sold on the European market are French. For a fact, 3 out of every 4 cars manufactured by the French car brands are sold outside of the country. French car industries play a major role in the country’s economy and directly or indirectly, about 10% of the working population works for automobile manufacturers. France released several outstanding movies, which showcase their cars and this boosted their sales outside of the country. French car brands have won many international awards, including the European Car of the Year and World Car of the Year.
